Are you a tenor frustrated with upper passaggio problems?  Or, a soprano wanting to develop faster and more accurate coloratura?  Perhaps you are a mezzo seeking greater ease and resonance in the low register?  In my 25 years of teaching I have successfully helped singers with these and many other technical challenges.   My students, who come from the entire Front Range and Denver Metro Area, have been winners and finalists in major competitions, and many perform professionally in opera and musical theatre productions. I also enjoy teaching talented recreational singers of all ages. In my teaching I focus on the individual, striving to develop the singer’s unique vocal individuality and personality.

 

My extensive experience as a performer, my academic background, and my  work as a stage director, allow me to help singers to develop as singers and performers in varied venues. I am dedicated to giving my students  solid technical instruction and the necessary tools to become “singing actors”, as  well as helping them to develop the life skills needed in the pursuit of a performing career.
